The Hi-Def Derivative Art Collection (The Specials)
Statement
This Ordinal acts as a contract. If you own this inscription, Kit Stokoe grants you the right to bake a cake, buy these cranes, place the two objects together in this configuration, and sell the work as an official Kitashi art piece (under certain conditions). Original cake baked by Jane Bland, commissioned by Kit Stokoe.
"This is an experiment in what I call the 'moneyfication' of things. I am using Art as the playground to explore concepts of utility in blockchain technologies and increase network growth, but also I just really wanted to bake an Ordinal."
Tenet
An unrottable cake made of digital permanence.
Conditions
Each new physical piece must have an Ordinal of Authenticity, with the physical and digital works sold as a pair whenever a sale occurs. This new inscription is to be created by the owner of this Contract Ordinal. This Contract Ordinal is to be made the Parent Ordinal of this new Child Inscription (this is what authenticates the person's right to make and sell the physical artwork as an official Kitashi). The new inscription must use the same image file that is inscribed in this Contract Ordinal so that both Parent and Child are of the same image. The blockchain metadata for the new Child Ordinal that appears on blockchain explorers must simply describe the cake in one of the following categories: Chocolate, Coffee, Carrot, Caramel, or Human Blood. If there is no metadata, it means the cake is plain. If the metadata reads one of these 5 categories, the cake must always contain at least 100 grams of that ingredient. The physical work must be shown publicly prior to its first sale. The cake must be edible when baked, and new replacement cakes must be baked periodically if the work is on display for extended periods (there is owner discretion here as different climate conditions change the necessity of cake replacement). The cake must follow the specifics of the design shown in the image in the Contract Ordinal and have the dimensions of 9cm in height and 31cm in diameter when iced. These dimensions described here do not include the final decorative icing and do not include the silver foil cake base, both of which are mandatory. The cranes must be exactly these Lladró Porcelain Figurines, as featured in the Contract Ordinal (no fakes are permitted, and if the brand ever produces a new run of these cranes past the date of this inscription, these new figures will not be permitted; this is what makes the works Sound Money and what makes this Ordinal of Authenticity a Sound Money Printer). The cranes must not have any chips or cracks when first sold (only the original physical cranes were permitted to have damage, and this damage is now what sets them apart from their children). If a physical crane connected to a Child Ordinal becomes damaged after its first sale, it is the market which will determine its value as a damaged Kitashi. The figurines must have no stand or base when placed on the cake. When you place the cranes on the cake, you act as my spirit. As the ceramic touches the icing, a new piece is born, and a new extension to my body of work exists in the world.
